Creative still, began to spill my first children’s story and illustrations, laundry and preparations for the am rush to the real world… boooooo. hiss.

It used to be my nightmare monster was human… then when the human went away for a long time, the nightmares slowly stopped. I’d have regular dreams, but they were vague and I never remember them.

This nightmare is the second of its kind. Same surroundings in both, different circumstances… same monstrous being. New to me, it isn’t human but walks on two legs, it was canine-like, but I didn’t consider it a werewolf in my dream. I’ve been told to draw it.

I’ve never drawn a dream of mine before… I’m still disconcerted and anxious.

I’m convinced I have ADD and some split-personality tendencies. To remedy the situation, I have chosen the blog with the most content on each platform (wordpress and blogger) and will plug everything in them. Having sensed a pattern in my posting habits, I may be able to produce better if I sift outlying posts from numerous blogs between the two main ones.

My yin-yang plan, plus it keeps me busy so I don’t start a new blog, and chip my very, very, and extremely thin shellac.

As I said previously, I’ve been twittering for a couple of years. I know about mommy blogs, and I’m not generally a reader. This is because the few mommy blogs I have come across are from moms of small children. When my kids were small adorable bundles of cute sayings and picture perfect milestones, I hadn’t even heard of a blog, much less was inspired by my single mom life to write about it.

My boys are 16 and 11 years old at this writing. The advice and community of young mommy bloggers are in my past…. Or so I thought.

From BonesCrone I started following some of the popular female bloggers that were suggested. Tonight’s timeline is just hopping with #typeamom ladies. I’m curious. I clicked.

Seems there is a convention… a meetup of moms who are connected by http://www.typeamom.net/

I checked it out. Not just the popular younger mommybloggers. There are ages and stages… other 40 something mothers of older children. And they are sharing their wisdom.  So far, I love what I see there.

I think about it all day. I hear something provocative, and a brilliant, inspired stream goes off in my head. Of course, I’m nowhere near a computer when it happens, and reach for a pen and scrap of paper is something I rarely do.

So, instead of putting it off, or finally sitting down with a faded memory of that brilliant, inspired stream (which just never finds its way external) only to give up and surf tweet memes, I thought… “just do anything”.

When I began this post, I thought I might link a neat-o video or something. This came out instead.

However, I have a great mix of people there who may be squeamish about the facts of life. Especially men who like the conversation free of bloody and crampy gore. I agree, this needs to change. If they are comfortable enough to scratch their balls in the line at the DMV, then I should be comfortable enough not to freak if I leak. Twitter isn’t the place to change in mid-flow (hehe, yes I like bad puns).

So, I’m presenting this side of me… which desperately needs for me to talk about it… to anyone who wants to come along for the ride. Female, male, old, young… it doesn’t matter. The mysteries of a woman’s life cycle shouldn’t be. Aging shouldn’t be seen as losing the youthful glow, rather it should be seen as gaining a gracious luster.

I’ve always been an old soul, I suppose. Enamoured with lessons of the past, and eaking out my future on the wisdom of those that came before. Maybe some young woman, just reaching her stride will find the jewel she needs here, and yet maybe it will be an older gentleman wondering just what the hell is up with his Mabel lately.

Either way, it will be worth it.
